The participants underlined the importance of longer entrepreneurial education for youth, to be added to their professional training.

"The society of today has to face price rises, the crisis of energy and globalisation, that is why our entrepreneurs have to be more innovative than before, for coping with ferocious global competition" said Daianu, honorary president of JA-YE Romania. The event also included a contest for the best ideas in initiating a business.

The prize of the European Parliament went to youths from Romania, who set up a virtual company, VEBBIO, centered on the design, manufacturing and sale of devices for the integrated management of waste.
